Ryker Earned A New Title!
I pulled Ryker out of retirement for the new GDT test at Carolinas NAVHDA March 15th, and our goal was just to party. He rocked a Prize II 133 without consistent training for two years and had an absolute blast!
We Are Getting A Puppy!
As many of you know Vora came from Dem Feuerhaus Gun Dogs. In a few weeks we will be traveling to Texas to get a half sister to Vora, stay tuned!

We went to our first training day of the year at Foothills NAVHDA
We had a great small evaluation type training day with Foothills NAVHDA this morning. The goal was to see Vora and Ryker brace together, and let them have fun.
Vora wanted to play with Ryker at first but after the second set of birds she dialed right in. The natural ability this girl has is impeccable as this is her first year as a big girls,.
As for Ryker, he got to be a dog and enjoy life with zero pressure and killed it.
My favorite part of the day was seeing Ryker and Vora hit scent at the same time and “robotically” point together (not an honoring situation). Remember just to have fun and give your dogs grace when you know they've had time off.
I love my team.

Vora Received a Prize 1 110
If any of you know Vora, at times she can be like "driving" a derailed train, but she held her composure the entire test! That was the biggest win of the day for me! Tracking really was a "this would only happen to me" moment.
She found some sort of animal in a low den tree first thing and pointed it, then found allll the pheasant tracks, so we were knocked to a 3. I am a super proud of her cooperation, and I am VERY proud of her.
Ryker Has An Upcoming Test
Ryker is going to a Senior Hunt Test for fun at Sandhills on Nov, 12th. I decided to do a Senior Test, to evaluate where he is at in his training.
